Dr. Gary Davision
Dr. Gary Davison serves as the Director of Student Leadership for The College Family Plan. Dr. Davison led Lambert High School since its establishment in 2008 to all of its current glory in 2023. Under Davison’s guidance, Lambert has a 99% graduation rate and is rank #1 in Forsyth County Public High Schools and #5 in Georgia. During his time, he built the school from the ground up, created a renowned atmosphere and showed full support to students and teachers in all he did. Lambert has been the #1 Feeder School in the country for the University of Georgia for 14 years. He has served for 4 years as an acting member of the University of Georgia Advisory Board.
He’s been featured by Tim Elmore with Growing Leaders, Dr. Sally Zepeda, Dr. Carl Glickman, and many leadership podcasts and articles. He has written “Even Great Leaders Need A Coach” and “Lead and Succeed When They are Angry”. His leadership development work grew out of a desire to establish the most effective and successful learning organizations possible. The results of his leadership has been to grow 24 leaders into executive level leadership positions. Gary and his wife, Jinger, have one daughter, Gracie.

Christine Mecham
Christine Mecham is Director of Executive Functioning and an experienced educator bringing over 30 years of expertise in teaching, professional development, and mentorship. With a Master of Science in Special Education and a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction, Christine has built a successful career supporting both students and educators to achieve their goals.
As a Project Facilitator for Literacy, Christine has spent years researching and implementing best practices to improve student achievement. Her extensive work with diverse student populations has made her a valuable resource in guiding high school students toward higher education success.
Christine has been recognized as the State Teacher of the Year in 2001 and was selected as the prestigious Heart of Education award recipient in 2021, achievements that highlight her commitment to excellence in education. Her expertise extends beyond the classroom, where she has mentored teachers and advised student organizations, helping guide young people toward academic and personal growth.
Christine brings a wealth of experience in guiding students through the critical transition from high school to higher education. She understands the nuances of academic success, college admissions, and the unique challenges that first-generation students or those with learning differences may face. Through her career, Christine has honed the skills to support students in finding the right fit for college, navigating admissions, and succeeding academically once enrolled.

Dr. Paige Galt
Dr. Paige Galt brings a wealth of experience in education and student success to her role as Director of Student Affairs for The College Family Plan. With over two decades in education, including leadership roles as a principal and assistant principal, she has dedicated her career to guiding students toward academic achievement and personal growth.
Dr. Galt holds a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership and an Education Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Nova Southeastern University, a Master’s in Spanish Education from Piedmont College, and a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Georgia. Her expertise spans curriculum development, college and career readiness, and mentoring students to reach their full potential.
As a former teacher, Assistant Principal, and Principal, Dr. Galt has firsthand experience supporting students’ educational journeys. She has played a pivotal role in college readiness programs, AP coordination, and mentorship initiatives, equipping students with the skills and confidence needed for success in higher education. Her passion for student success, academic guidance, and leadership development makes her an invaluable resource for families navigating the college admissions process.

Dee Moody
Dee Moody serves as Executive Director of Coaching Services. With over 10 years of success helping students navigate the college application process and 5 years as a dedicated high school counselor. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Public Relations from Brigham Young University, a top 20 nationally ranked institution, where she developed the foundational skills as an admissions counselor which fuels her ability to effectively guide students.
As a certified member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), Dee Moody stays at the forefront of admissions trends, ensuring her strategies are tailored to each student’s unique strengths and aspirations. Her keen insight into the evolving college landscape has empowered countless students to achieve their individual educational goals, helping them secure spots at top universities across the country.
Dee Moody’s passion for higher education is not just professional but personal—she is the proud mother of four children, all of whom graduated as Valedictorians of their class. Her experience as both a parent and professional gives her a holistic perspective that resonates deeply with families navigating the often complex journey toward college success.

Alan Griffin
As Executive Director of Athletic Services, Alan Griffin brings 18 years of diverse experience in both public and private education, having served students in a variety of roles including school counselor, administrator, teacher, and coach. As a dedicated school counselor, he has guided hundreds of students toward achieving their post-secondary goals, including securing scholarships to prestigious institutions such as the University of Notre Dame, the University of North Carolina, the University of Georgia, and many others.
With a background as a former collegiate athlete, athletic director, and current head basketball coach, Mr. Griffin possesses extensive knowledge of the NCAA recruitment and eligibility process. He has successfully supported student-athletes in pursuing collegiate athletic opportunities across all levels—from junior colleges to NCAA Division I programs.
Mr. Griffin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Carson-Newman University and a Master of Education in School Counseling from the University of the Southwest. He is a certified Professional School Counselor and currently serves in a traditional high school setting, where he continues to advocate for student success both academically and athletically.

Paula Flatman
As the Director of our Special Education team, Paula Flatman has a passion for learning and teaching others. With over 20 years in the educational field as a teacher at the elementary, middle, high school and business college levels and as a college coach for the past 6 years, she has helped many students discover their passions and potential. Her diverse international experiences are an asset as she works with many international students and offers all students insight that the whole world is open to them.
She earned her Master’s degree in Spain. Previously she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, and a Bachelors in Spanish Education from University of North Georgia. Having helped her own 3 children navigate the complexities of college admissions, extracurriculars, scholarships, etc. she has real world insight into the challenges students face nowadays. She belongs to the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and Georgia School Counseling Association (GSCA). She is willing and eager to help your student discover their passions to live a successful and fulfilling life.

Emilee Schiel
Assistant Director of Student Affairs Emilee Schiel specializes in helping students pursue competitive programs in STEM and business. As Valedictorian of her high school, Emilee understands the value of hard work in the journey to college. Emilee combines her academic background with years of hands-on experience mentoring high-achieving students as they navigate the path to top universities. With a sharp eye for detail and a deep understanding of what elite programs look for, she has guided aspiring engineers, entrepreneurs, and data scientists through every stage of the college admissions process.
Emilee earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science with a minor in Business from Brigham Young University, where she developed a strong foundation in analytical thinking, research, and problem-solving—skills that continue to shape her approach. Her interdisciplinary studies gave her unique insight into how science and business intersect, a perspective she now shares with students looking to enter fields like biotech, sustainability, finance, and tech innovation.
Before transitioning into college admissions,
Emilee worked at EnergySolutions, a leading company in nuclear waste management and environmental remediation. During her time there, she collaborated with engineers and environmental scientists on large-scale sustainability projects, gaining firsthand experience in how scientific innovation is applied to solve complex, real-world problems. This industry background gives her a unique edge when advising students pursuing careers in STEM.

Julie McKean
As Executive Advisor of Student Development, Julie brings over two decades of experience supporting students across a diverse range of educational settings. A seasoned educator and college counselor, she has taught at every grade level—from elementary through high school—giving her a rich, firsthand understanding of the academic, social, and personal growth students experience throughout their educational journey.
At The College Family Plan, Julie combines her extensive background in teaching and academic advising to guide high school students through every step of the college admissions process. By helping them discover best-fit colleges and mentoring them through the art of crafting compelling applications, she provides personalized support designed to ease the stress of college planning and empower students to succeed.
As a parent of two children who recently navigated the college admissions process themselves, Julie brings a deeply personal layer of real-world perspective to her professional work. Happily married for over 20 years, she also believes in the power of strong partnerships—both in education and in life—and is dedicated to helping students and families experience that same sense of support throughout their journey.

Stephani Satterfield
Stephani, our Program Content Director, brings more than twenty years of experience in both education and professional training. She began her career in the classroom, teaching at the high school and college levels, before moving into the corporate world where she designed and implemented development programs for professionals at every stage of their careers. This breadth of experience gave her a deep understanding of the skills required to thrive across a wide range of industries.
Stephani is a certified trainer and continues to stay at the forefront of educational and career development strategies, ensuring that her guidance reflects both current trends and the unique needs of each student she supports. Her insight into the evolving educational and career landscape has helped countless students set goals, build confidence, and secure opportunities that position them for long-term success.
Her passion for guiding students is not only professional but personal. As a parent herself, Stephani understands the challenges and aspirations families bring to the college process. This dual perspective allows her to connect deeply with the families she serves, offering a holistic and compassionate approach to navigating the journey toward higher education and beyond.
